What are the causes of snoring in children?

I often look and observe my children whenever they sleep. They look like angels but I noticed lately that my youngest who is 6 years old snores a bit. It is not very loud though but I thought it's quite unusual. Is it normal for a child to snore? What are the causes of this. I am planning to ask her doctor about this but I we will be visiting him next week yet. Any information regarding this will be of great help. Thanks!

It is believed that the "extra" skin near the opening of the nasal passages in your mouth is the cause of snoring. Thus a simple surgery can be preformed which usually diminishes snoring completely!
