[[Do newborn babys dream?]]

Tip for best answer: M$1.05
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The assumption is yes based on the fact that babies spend approximately 50% of their sleep time in the state of REM (rapid eye movement), which is the state of sleep when adults dream. Unfortunately, babies can't assist researchers by confirming if they remember a dream and what the dream may have been about, ergo the scientific assumption rather than proof.
